If ever there were a candidate to be a hero of a picaresque tale, or better yet a character in a Dickensian 19th century novel, Bob Button is it.
His name alone, pardon the pun, is on the button.
But the affable Button, 82, is pure 20th century, literally flying into the 21st.
Button, who recently moved to Reading from New Jersey with his wife, Regina, 62, a New York City-based textile designer for home fashion products, was once a vagabond foster child.
During an adventurous lifetime, he transformed into the current retiree and pilot of a Beechcraft Sierra for his self-described and facetious Geezer Airlines.
